Anthony Strong - Since releasing his debut major label album in 2013, Anthony has been featured on the front page of France’s biggest daily newspaper Le Figaro, performed to millions live on German television and been described by the British press as “a major talent hotly tipped to take his place in the retro-contemporary jazz pantheon alongside Jamie Cullum and Michael Bublé.” In November 2013 his debut release reached #1 on the US iTunes Jazz Charts.

Hailed as “England’s new jazz superstar”, a support slot with the legendary BB King and an EP release which reached #1 on the UK jazz charts saw singer-pianist Anthony Strong grab the attention of some of the world’s top record labels in early 2012. He eventually signed a worldwide recording deal with iconic French label Naïve, home of multi-million selling singers Adele, Carla Bruni and Katie Melua, and released his debut album ‘Stepping Out’ in April 2013.

After receiving music scholarships to Whitgift School and The Purcell School of Music in England, Anthony funded a degree at the world-renowned Guildhall School of Music by gigging in London and quickly built up a reputation as an in-demand session musician, playing with artists such as Michael Bolton, Marti Pellow and Kyle Eastwood. He also spent 9 months in the West End as Jerry Lee Lewis in the show Million Dollar Quartet, performing to thousands of theatre-goers including jazz-lover Rod Stewart, who came back the next day to tell him that he thought his performance was “f***ing amazing!”

In 2011, Anthony was invited to join pop singer Paloma Faith, English entertainer Tony Christie and jazz legend Buddy Greco for the BBC’s star-studded New Year’s Eve broadcast Live from The Savoy Ballroom in London and made his European debuts in 2012 with festival performances in France, Italy, Spain, Scandinavia, Germany and Switzerland as well as 12 sold out shows at the legendary Duc Des Lombards club in Paris.

安東尼在倫敦高等音樂院校畢業，並獲得優秀音樂獎學金。畢業後他開始了在倫敦各大小音樂節和現場的演出，迅速積累了大量人氣和聽眾，並最終就讀於享譽全球的市政廳音樂學院。他曾搭檔邁克爾·波頓(Michael Bolton)，Marti Pellow和凱爾伊斯特伍德 (Kyle Eastwood)等前輩同台演出。安東尼還曾受邀參演倫敦經典音樂劇《百萬美元四重奏》(Million Dollar Quartet)，在長達9個月的密集演出中，成功飾演了傑里‧李‧劉易斯 (Jerry Lee Lewis)一角。身為長期劇迷，同時也是爵士樂迷的羅德‧斯圖爾特(Rod Stewart)也對安東尼的表演讚賞有加。

2011年，安東尼受邀加入眾星雲集的BBC除夕夜現場演出Live from The Savoy Ballroom。2012年Anthony遍遊歐洲，在法國，德國，瑞士，義大利，西班牙和斯堪地那維亞等多國演出，完成了他的首個巡演之旅。其後12場在著名Duc Des Lombards Club的個人演出門票更是瞬間被搶購一空。2014年，安東尼獲邀到上海參與上海爵士音樂節，他那復古而摩登的英倫爵士風格將現場氣氛推至最高點! 同年，他也被邀請到澳門《金光爵士及藍調音樂節》擔任壓軸表演嘉賓及比賽評審，吸納了不少亞洲樂迷! 安東尼現正積極錄製第三張個人專輯。
